The Earth and Life Origins Institute (ELOI) at Handong Global University investigates how the Earth, and life upon it, began. For most of their history these questions belonged to debate rather than to measurement. With the leap in precision and large-scale measurement, and in computing and inference, we can now examine the premises each theory rests on and the calculations that carry it to its numbers.
